The Volkswagen Vanagon is a van that you can throw your surfboards in the back and jam down to the beach in or take your family comfortably across country in. This is an extremely versatile van that can be used for many different scenarios. This Vanagon is a Wolfsburg edition and it comes with its original jump seats and folding table. This particular Vanagon rear ended another vehicle and was salvaged by the insurance company as a result. The current owner decided to buy it back and fix the vehicle rather than let it be scrapped. The frame is straight and the accident didn’t cause any structural damage. The glove box and radio were affected in the accident. The condenser was broken as a result of the accident and will subsequently need a replacement in order to get the A/C running. The Vanagon has received new plugs, new belts, new shocks, new Westy steel front bumper, and the front has been repainted after the accident. It is noted that all the window rubber gaskets were upgraded from the original window plastics and the windows have been tinted. There is 31 years of service history documentation included with the sale of this Vanagon. If you are looking for a great Volkswagen Vanagon for a heavily discounted price, look no further!

The 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon is a classic compact van that was produced by Volkswagen between 1980 and 1991. It was available as either a cargo or passenger van, or as a combination of both. As an aging vehicle, it’s prone to the wear-and-tear issues common to older cars such as decreased reliability and increased maintenance needs. Despite this, many owners of old Volkswagen Vanagons admire its classic look and vintage charm. It’s important to remember that the particular issues experienced by a given 1987 Vanagon depend on its condition, maintenance background and usage.
